Of course, there are many other contenders for the rule of England, but the Shelbys are unflappable.


Bridgerton

You have probably watched or heard about this series that was based on Julia Quinn's series of romance novels and centers around the Bridgerton family. Daphne Bridgerton is at the core of Season 1, where she meets Simon Bassett, Duke of Hastings, a very eligible bachelor who has no plans to marry anytime soon. They recently released a second season that revolved around the love story of the eldest Bridgerton, Anthony and his love interest Kate Sharma.


Downtown Abbey

Downton Abbey is another well-known historical drama set in the 1910s and 1920s that revolves around the Crawley family. The drama and social maneuverings of the upper class are contrasted by the daily chores and struggle that the whole Downton Abbey estate staff faces while working for the Crawleys.


The Crown

The Crown, an award-winning series depicting Queen Elizabeth II's life that begins with her youth and ends with her succession to the throne of England, involves a time leap and a new cast every two seasons. The show has earned recognition for its portrayal of the royal family, and it's a brilliant series for anyone interested in British history.
